I grew up in a small town in upstate NY, the kind of town that no one can find on a map, or will recognize when I say it. Growing up I had never been exceptionally great at anything.  I was never the best athlete, I was never the top of my class. Though I may not have been the best, I realized that it didn’t matter if I was the best. Chances are there is always going to be someone better, stronger, and faster than me. Instead, I  leaned into what I could control, and that was my effort. I could TRAIN like the best and prepare as if I were meant to be there.

Eventually, this all led me to pursue an exercise science degree at Ithaca College. That decision kicked off the journey that I’ve been on ever since. I’ve committed myself to always be in the practice of learning. From obtaining certifications such as CSCS, FRC Specialist, and USAW, and beyond. I’ve lived around the country fostering my craft, starting at EXOS in Texas, eventually landing at the Performance Compound, and Saddlebrook Resort here in Tampa. I’ve been fortunate enough to have trained some of the most exceptional professional athletes in the world. From warming up tennis greats at the French Open and Wimbeldon, to training NFL combine players. Though my work is still deeply rooted in my work with MLB/NHL/NFL athletes, I realized that high performing individuals existed beyond the athlete space.

This all led me to Sukha.  A place where we can pursue the journey of happiness through the alignment of the mind and the body; for all individuals, who will all be treated the same.  At the end of the day, we are all human beings who are on the pursuit to become the best version of ourselves.  My goal is that Sukha allows us the space to do just that. I’m committed to guiding you on your journey, but ultimately, it will always be the effort that you put in inside the four walls and out.

I was born in Geneva, Switzerland (could you tell by my accent?) In 2011, I was recruited to play soccer at IMG Academy in Bradenton,FL. After spending over two years there, I made the decision to go back home and pursue a professional career. During my time back in Europe, I realized that the mindset that I was surrounded by was not for me, and that I needed to head back to the US.

I went for a visit to The University of Tampa and absolutely fell in love with the school, the soccer program, the campus, and the energy of the city. Once again, I decided to leave everything behind and moved to Tampa to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship. During those 4 years of school, I developed a passion for fitness, endurance training, health, and wellness.

This led me to my time at CAMP, where I coached for four years. I learned a lot here, and I also realized that I still wanted to learn how to run my own business - Enter SoFresh. Working in hospitality is always something that I wanted to do aside from fitness. I truly believe that if you know how to run/operate a restaurant, you can run any type of business. Four years and two SoFresh stores later I knew it was time for me to go back to what I truly love to do - fitness and wellness.

Dylan and I became very close friends when both training and working at CAMP. When Dylan reached out to me, and talked me through his idea of opening a training facility in North Hyde park for his current members, I was in. I knew to my core that together, we could build something unique, something exclusive, that would disrupt the fitness industry in Tampa. We knew this city deserves a place like Sukha. Sukha gives the opportunity for like-minded individuals to find their own ‘’sukha’’ through physical and mental challenge. I firmly believe that disruption is crucial in the growth of any individual. It forces you to become present in the moment, another critical point in finding a deep lasting state of happiness. We provide our members all the modalities that we believe are essential to find their own ‘’Sukha’’.
